TRICKED OUT POPCORN

No matter what I make for my Halloween party, this is always my favorite and usually everyone else's favorite. I like to make my popcorn stovetop because it makes the whole house smell amazing. There also nothing like it and you can make a huge pot. Just add your favorite bite-size halloween candies and season with salt... the possibilities are endless...

1/4 cup vegetable oil (or any kind of neutral oil)

1/2 cup popcorn kernles

finely ground sea salt or pink Himalayan salt, to taste

Your favorite bite-size Halloween candies such as candy corn, Twix, raisinettes, twizzler bites, Reese's Pieces, etc

Heat oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Once the oil starts to slightly ripple, add the kernels and cover. Once the kernels start to pop, turn heat to low and occasionally shake the pot. Continue cooking until all the kernels are popped. Remove from heat, uncover and let cool slightly before adding candy. Enjoy!
